COUNTY TRIALS
Detailed information for those attending the second County Trials - Aug 19th – 21st is available here.
This year we will be starting the DC program with County Trials for U13 and U14 girls and boys (previously known as "Summer Camps"). Our young players will receive intensive coaching during the Trials and the Coaches will have a good opportunity to assess them. After the Summer we expect that most of these players will be invited to continue training on Friday evenings in our DC program in the Autumn when we will then be running a further 3 or 4 training sessions for these age groups as a lead up to final selection for the AC program.
Who it’s for
The County Trials are open to anyone in the appropriate age range who are keen to demonstrate their ability and hope to be able to play for County.
When are the County Trials
The County Trials are run twice on July 22nd – 24th and August 19th – 21st at Reading HC.
Older Age Groups

About Berkshire Hockey
Berkshire Hockey works with clubs and schools to promote participation in this fast and exciting sport. Hockey is hugely popular within Berkshire with thousands of people, young and old regularly participating.
Berkshire hockey runs a junior development programme for children who play hockey at clubs and schools, many of these children go on to represent Berkshire in the Southern Counties Academy Centre Championships. In addition Berkshire Hockey co-ordinates county-wide tournaments and events in partnership with local clubs and schools.
Berkshire Hockey is a member of the South Central Hockey (a sub-area of England Hockey) alongside Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire and works with England Hockey to facilitate involvement in hockey for players of all ages and abilities.
